“It Starts with Food” by Dallas & Melissa Hartwig

What I love about this book:  It is THE quintessential resource for anyone wanting to learn about how your bodily functions are influenced by the food you’re eating and how those decisions are either leading you to your longevity or morbidity.  It unapologetically BUSTS the Conventional Diet Wisdom & educates the reader in a way that is amusing & easy to follow by anyone who vaguely remembers Grade 9 biology. Whether you decide to go Paleo or not – READ THIS BOOK!

Paleo Leap, great beginner’s insider to everything Paleo

What I love about this website:  This is one of my (several) favourite Paleo diet & lifestyle websites for it’s simple yet engaging explanation of the essential principles of living Paleo.  Especially excellent for beginners, the information is easily digestible (ha ha!), fun to read and PACKED with handy tips and geek-worthy tid-bits to help you get it figured out (ASIDE from all the yummy recipes that will motivate you to WANT to cook!).  So put down that bowl of popcorn, go to this website & go wrap something in bacon!

House of Bounce, Trampoline Studio

What I love about trampolining: It’s silly fun and a total departure from your stale old fitness or running routine!  Not only are Founders & Instructors Heather & Alex, AMAZING at leading a fun & energizing class that gets you to forget you’re actually EXERCISING, the activity & benefits of rebounding for anyone looking for low-impact yet high intensity workouts will find this a super fun way to bounce their stress away!

Essentrics Studio/DVD workouts:

What I love about this program:  It’s essential to your health & well-being. Period.
